tiny shiny dreams.

just a few hours left until we’re off to Gudauri, Georgia, onto what was supposed to be a snowboarding trip. however, it seems Mother Earth is angry at them as well, offering the weather conditions unseen before at this time of year - the temperature has been on the mild side of the Celsius scale, ranging between +2C and 7C, with sun and showers. and all that while Estonia has been buried in heavy snow since November. snap!
the toughest thing is to decide what to pack for such a trip, really.what to bring? how much snow will there be, if at all? what else is there to do? snowboarding and avalanche gear takes up s*loads of space, but i’ll probably also need my bikinis, hiking boots, books (ok, I’ve got my Kindle), something decent to wear in the evening, etc etc.
oh well. i’m dead exhausted and from what i’ve heard, the wine is good, locals are friendly, nature is beautiful, and - man, what else could you ask for on a holiday.
bring it on!
